Road transportation
• Transportation of the body to Russia and the CIS:

Regardless of the mode of transportation (aircraft, road transport), delivery of cargo 200 is a highly responsible task, complex both documentarily and organisationally.
This procedure requires compliance with specific conditions (storage, transportation of the body) and involves the preparation of numerous permit documents for the transportation of cargo.
We arrange cargo 200 road transport and delivery of the body by hearse from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, the Baltic states, Moldova and the European Union to Belarus and back. Own fleet of international hearses with refrigeration units, full legal and customs support, 24/7 operation. Call +375 29 314-59-59 — we dispatch a vehicle to the morgue within hours and handle all paperwork.
A road hearse is the best solution for short and medium distances and for countries bordering Belarus. If death occurred in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia or Moldova, road transport is almost always cheaper and faster than air freight: no airport handling, no mandatory zinc sealing to IATA standards, no expensive cargo rate. The hearse is dispatched directly to the morgue or hospital, collects the coffin and delivers the body to any settlement without transfers. This method is especially convenient when the deceased must be taken directly to a village or small town not served by scheduled flights.
We perform international road transport of human remains from all regions of Russia — Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Smolensk, Bryansk, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Siberia and the Far East. We cover Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv), Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Bialystok), Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova. A separate direction is Western Europe: Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France. Return trips are possible along any of the routes — we transport bodies of Belarusian citizens both into and out of Belarus to the country where relatives wish to bury them.
Our fleet consists of certified funeral Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Ford hearses equipped with an insulated refrigeration compartment operating at 0 to +4 °C. The cargo area is fully separated from the driver's cabin, has sanitary lining, is disinfected after every trip and complies with WHO and EU requirements for the carriage of human remains. Vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking, backup power for the cooling unit and mounts for standard and extended coffins. For long routes a crew of two drivers is assigned, allowing continuous movement without long stops and ensuring timely delivery.
International road transport of a body crosses the border through dedicated checkpoints: Kozlovichi, Brest, Berestovitsa, Kamenny Log, Privalka, Novaya Guta. Our drivers are experienced in cargo 200 clearance and use the green corridor for sanitary cargo. Mandatory documents at the border are: a CMR waybill marked 'human remains', the sanitary (transit) certificate of the country of departure, death certificate with apostille or consular legalisation, export permit for the body, passport of the deceased and a certificate of embalming or hermetic packaging. All papers are prepared in advance to avoid delays at customs.
Times depend on distance and traffic conditions. From Moscow, Smolensk, Bryansk and Pskov the hearse reaches Minsk in 10–14 hours; from Saint Petersburg — about 24 hours. From Warsaw and eastern Poland delivery takes 8–12 hours, from Vilnius — 4–5 hours. From central Russia (Kazan, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod) — 1.5 to 2 days. Transport from Germany, Czechia, Slovakia takes 2–3 days; from France, Belgium, the Netherlands — 3–5 days. For urgent dispatch we leave within 2–4 hours of receiving payment and having documents ready at the morgue.
Lawful cargo 200 road transport across borders requires a full set of documents: 1) medical death certificate with apostille or consular legalisation and notarised translation; 2) a sanitary certificate from the state sanitary doctor confirming no contraindications to transport; 3) an export permit issued by the civil registry or the corresponding authority of the country of departure; 4) a statement confirming no foreign items are placed in the coffin; 5) the international passport of the deceased; 6) CMR waybill and carrier's trip sheet. We collect the entire package on our own — the family only needs to provide a copy of the deceased's passport.
The cost of road transport consists of several components: distance from the collection point to the burial place, class of hearse, urgency of dispatch, toll roads and ferries, customs fees, document preparation (apostille, translations, certificates), embalming and a zinc coffin if required. Indicative prices: Moscow — Minsk from 1,100 USD, Saint Petersburg — Minsk from 1,400 USD, Warsaw — Minsk from 900 EUR, Vilnius — Minsk from 700 EUR, Germany — Minsk from 2,500 EUR. The exact price is quoted after we clarify the addresses and document status — please call +375 29 314-59-59.
A road hearse outperforms aviation on distances up to 2,500 km. First, the price — no air cargo tariff and no airport handling fees. Second, a road hearse does not require mandatory zinc sealing: a wooden coffin with antiseptic treatment is sufficient, saving 300–500 USD. Third, there are no transfers, airport customs brokers, flight delays or strict IATA packaging rules. Fourth, the hearse is dispatched directly to the morgue and delivers the body straight to the cemetery or ceremonial hall. For neighbouring countries — Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia — it is the fastest and most economical way of repatriation.
We carry out road transport of deceased persons from Russia (all regions, including Siberia and the Far East), Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova, Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. We deliver into Belarus and perform return trips along the same routes. If your route is not on the list, call us — we will arrange the transport based on your specific case.
In most cases international road transport does not require a zinc coffin — a wooden coffin with hermetic antiseptic packaging and embalming is sufficient. Zinc is mandatory only for bodies with especially dangerous infections or for transit through countries with specific rules (e.g. Germany in some cases). We verify the requirements of each route before dispatch and choose the optimal packaging solution for your situation.
Road transport of a body from Moscow to Minsk starts at 1,100 USD and includes dispatch of the hearse to the morgue, loading, border crossing and delivery to the specified address in Belarus. The price covers crew work, fuel, customs clearance and CMR preparation. Embalming, the coffin, apostille and document legalisation are quoted separately — the full estimate will be given after a phone call clarifying the details of your case.
Road transport of a body from Warsaw to Minsk takes 8 to 12 hours on the road plus 1–3 hours of customs clearance at the Belarusian-Polish border (Kozlovichi, Brest). If all documents are prepared in advance and clearance goes smoothly, the body can arrive in Minsk on the day of departure. When needed we operate an accelerated scheme with two drivers and minimal stops — especially important when the funeral date is already scheduled.
Yes, a relative may accompany the deceased in the hearse — there are passenger seats in the cabin. It is legal and commonly practised for international road transport. A valid international passport, a visa (if crossing Schengen or the EU) and medical insurance are required. The accompanying person helps at customs, identifies the body if necessary and saves time on receiving the body in Belarus. The accompaniment service is charged separately.
All our hearses are insured and crews have clear protocols for incidents. In case of a border delay or traffic accident we immediately inform the customer, engage a reserve vehicle and the company lawyer. GPS monitoring, a 24/7 dispatch desk and direct contact with customs brokers keep everything under control. In force-majeure situations the refrigeration unit runs autonomously for up to 24 hours, guaranteeing preservation of the body until the situation is resolved.
Yes, we work around the clock, without days off or public holidays. A road hearse can be dispatched at any time — at night, on Saturday, Sunday, New Year or Easter. The dispatcher answers calls 24/7 at +375 29 314-59-59, and documents are prepared in parallel with vehicle dispatch. This matters because death abroad rarely happens at a convenient time, and morgues often have strict limits on how long they can store the body.
We accept payment in any convenient way: bank transfer to the company account in Belarusian roubles, Russian roubles, US dollars or euros; Visa/Mastercard card payment; cash settlement on meeting our representative in Minsk; Western Union money transfer or the SBP system. For legal entities we issue an invoice and sign a contract. The advance is usually 50–70% of the total, with the balance paid after delivery of the body and signing of the acceptance act.
Our 24/7 dispatch desk will accept the order and send a hearse within 2–4 hours. We prepare all documents, cross the border and deliver the body to any settlement in Belarus.
