Is a yellow fever certificate mandatory?
Yes, Nigeria strictly requires a yellow fever certificate for all entrants, including HUM cargo. Belarus is not a risk country, officially confirmed by the Belarus Ministry of Health sanitary certificate — for a body in a zinc coffin no additional vaccination is required. The certificate must accompany the document package. Accompanying relatives MUST have a yellow fever shot (preferably also meningitis and hepatitis) at least 10 days before entry. How to obtain an apostille in Belarus for Nigeria?
The apostille is issued by the Belarus MFA, 19 Lenin Street, Minsk. Originals of ZAGS certificate, medical certificate, sanitary permit, embalming act are submitted. Since Nigeria is not a Hague Convention member, apostille alone is insufficient — consular legalization at the Nigerian Embassy in Moscow (no embassy in Minsk) is required.
